A Journey
from Natraj to Great Roman
Dhiraj Baral |
"My parents would have come if had
money." This sarcastic words is how much satirical to those
indifferent parents and deaf government! It is hard to believe
this devastating remark reiterated by a small girl drenched in
immature anxiety for her family. Most of the kids recently
rescued from circus, a great ditch to violate the rights of
children, reveal that they were made to alienate by no one
except their parents. The main cause seems to be penury that
destructed and snatched their childishness in the journey from
Natraj to Great Roman Circus.
We have an apparent picture of
tender mental state as they get never tired saying they have no
any job then. How much they are brainwashed as they repeats "we
love returning to the circus for own family's well-being. An
immense burden, laden on such a delicate shoulder could get how
much attention in the country of blind!
All the concerned sectors only
echo the slogan against child right but why they seem to be mute
even after knowing the dilapidated picture of kids.
Everyday, they get the consolation
to get reasonable amount for risking their vulnerable life but
get the award of molestation and sometime even more hazardous
punishment. The days pass as usual with the beating and scolding
from the master, they keep no any aim rather than to jump to
Great Roman Circus from other unknown circus for better salary.
Their stretching body at each show hardly could fetch stretched
future with uncountable scope.
Even the nexus among police,
government official and circus master still create broad
platform to practice such a foul game of exploitation over
helpless child and give this a name of circus. Veteran human
rights activist, Kailash Satyarthi proves to be a real hero to
rescue over a dozen of kids despite the attack of assailants
produced from circus side. Who is the daring person to lead this
process which still goes unabated all over India? We should be
grateful to them who can uproot this illegal racket with quick
effect.
If anyone gets the incarnation of
Khem Thapa, president of Nepal Bal Kalyan Sansthan, we pray god
to send those similar personalities who can challenge the
negligence of government and unawareness of irresponsible
parents and give new life to the circus children who are still
roaming in the similar circuses all over India being
overshadowed by media also.
It becomes our religion to
demolish this terrible pillar of child trafficking. Thanks to
those organizations and personalities who made this attempt
successful and we hope to get prominent cooperation from every
related sectors to bring back rest of the children as so as
possible. Let’s go joining the hands together.
